WIP Wednesday: Spotty Tube update

Previously…

When I first started my knitted Spotty Tube, I had two rows of spots….

Then…

This looks like five-and-a-half rows of spots…

Now…

It looks like six and a half rows now. But I have developed a new skill: two-handed yarn holding!

I hold my yarn strangely, because I taught myself to knit after my crochet habits had long been ingrained. I hold my working yarn in my left hand, yet I do not really do “continental” knitting.

I have learned how to hold the yarn in my right hand, but it feels awkward. I have chosen to hold the spot-coloured yarn in my right hand, and the background colour in my left, and in doing so, my yarn doesn’t get twisted up and I can get some right-handed practice in.

Not bad, eh?
